KIBC Chairman Markos Williams was invited by Exim Bank of India to deliver the keynote address during the opening of the Exim Bank, Dubai office. Markos Williams spoke of the need to draw significant Sharia Compliant funds from the GCC region to India which currently flows primarily to New York, Zurich, London and Singapore. As Fund Manager, Markos Williams launched the highly successful World’s first India focused Sharia Compliant Open Ended Equity Fund which was regulated by the Central Bank of Kuwait and the Security & Exchange Board of India (SEBI).
