Kuwait India Business Council bid farewell to Deputy Chief of Mission of the Indian Embassy Dinesh Bhatia on completion of his tenure at the residence of KIBC Chairman Markos Williams.

Bhatia who officiated as the Head of Mission in Kuwait for nearly two years in the absence of an ambassador had endeared himself to the Indian community by his affable nature, his focus on improving bilateral business relations, rejuvenating the rather lethargic consular services and providing timely assistance to the weaker sections of the Indian community who desired to be repatriated for various reasons.

Bhatia, a youthful Indian Foreign Service Officer galvanised the business community in Kuwait and encouraged them to participate in various social welfare activities like no other head of mission in the recent past except for the highly respected Ambassador PrabhuDayal.
